Your California Privacy Rights

Last updated: April 2026

If you're a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), gives you specific rights regarding your personal information. This page explains those rights and how to exercise them at RoadSeal.

Quick summary: We don't sell your personal information. We also don't share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time — free of charge — using the buttons below or by emailing privacy@roadseal.co.

Your rights

1. Right to know

You can ask us to disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal information we've collected about you over the last 12 months, where it came from, why we collected it, who we shared it with, and (if applicable) who we sold it to.

2. Right to delete

You can ask us to delete the personal information we've collected from you. Some exceptions apply — for example, we must retain transaction records for accounting, tax, and anti-fraud purposes (typically 7 years in the UK).

3. Right to correct

You can ask us to correct inaccurate personal information. Most profile data can be edited directly at your account page.

4. Right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information

We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. If that ever changes, you'll see a prominent "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link at the bottom of every page and a working opt-out will be provided.

5. Right to limit use of sensitive personal information

We only use sensitive personal information (like your driver's licence number) for the purpose you provided it — issuing your International Driving Permit. We don't use it for profiling or marketing.

6. Right to non-discrimination

We won't deny you service, charge you different prices, or provide a lower quality of service because you exercised any CCPA right.
